Service Stories
This section of the website is about the stories behind the services during the year: the history and traditions and the ways worship has evolved over time. The content is not definitive and is always open to contribution and further research. There is probably no right and wrong and many of the traditions in the church have confusing and even contradictory origins. The aim is to include as much of the logical and colourful history of the various forms of worship through time. In this way, we know that we are connected to the past and contribute to the future.
